An outreach program of the Metapolitan Community, the Neighborhood Node Center project is designed to bring a low cost, high quality of life to neighborhoods "in place".
The need for this program is urgent. Building sustainability into every neighborhood will give residents confidence and courage when the economic impact of sudden change threatens the stability of everyday life.
The Metapolitan intentional community is dedicated to creating a sustainable lifestyle offering a high quality of life at the lowest possible cost through the formation of two types of communities.
Metapolitan Neighborhood Node Centers
Metapolitan Neighborhood Node Centers are organizational tools for neighborhoods. Beginning with Neighborhoodware™, a complete off-grid stragy on a set of CDs, members can organize and develop programs that enable them to reduce costs and improve quality of life in their area.
Metapolitan Community Development Program
The Metapolitan Community Development Program is planning sustainable communities that utilize the Metacubic™ Standard. This is a standard for an omni-modal shipping and storage system based on a three cubic meter size.
The Metacubic standard is the basis of the Metapolitan Economic Development Strategy because it enables mobility at a much higher level. Using this technology we can easily move our homes contents from a house or apartment to storage or another location without professional assistance.
The Omni-modal transfer and storage system is an economic breakthough that will enable the Metapolitan Communities to prosper as resource costs rise.
